I don't play so much bridge nowadays, and when I do it is usually online, at the brilliant Bridge Base Online (BBO) site.  I recommend BBO to anybody interested in bridge.  The site is the brainchild of top Canadian international Fred Gitelman, and if I had to list its top five advantages they would be:

  • it caters to all levels of players, from novice to world class;

  • its members are almost universally friendly;
    • 

  • the actual site is easy to navigate;
    • 

  • there are a huge number of useful add-ons, from private bidding practice tables, to vugraph shows of live events with well-informed, internationally known commentators.
